My name means knowledge, a fist, or a sword of straight edge.
Though it is only a word. and holds no more bearing
on who I am than any other name I might be given.
Neither am I what those close to me perceive me to be
For that is just the present, what I am now, what they want to see.
I am the sum of all my actions, that I have done and have yet to do.
I am a fleeting flicker of flame to the universe and eternal like the sand.
Why are you here?
Because, as the way things are, this is precisely where I am meant to be.
Until my last breath, I will not truly know my purpose, perhaps not even then.
Though in my heart, I know it is to do the best I can, and hope that it is enough
I believe that there is some small purpose, some duty that I have to fulfill.
Even if it is just to watch one flower bloom, so that the universe can know its own beauty.
Though I strive to do more than that, to inspire hope and to make the world a better place.
Where are you going?
